FD30 Composite Fire Doors

Recently, the government has tightened its safety regulations when it comes to Fire Doors to help to ensure that people are safe in their home and places of work. This is why it is important to ensure that when you are ordering a Fire Door for your home or for a flat you rent out that it has passed the appropriate safety standards.

All of our FD30 Fire Doors that we offer here at Nottingham Front Doors have passed the new government standards and can with stand fire for 30 minutes when tested on both sides and have passed the Fire Door Test required by BS476 Part 22:1987. This means like the name FD30 suggests, your fire door will allow you up to 30 minutes of fire resistance to enable you to escape safely if a fire does occur.

We also have trained fitters, who have City and Guild qualifications to enable us to certify your new Fire Door.

A solid FD30 Fire Door with no glass starts at around £1,550 including VAT and your installation. 

As with any door, prices will vary depending on the style of door you choose. The designs you can see with more glass on will cost more than doors with less or no glass. This is due to extra work that goes into making the glass fire safe.

All of our FD30s Composite Fire Doors come with a certified FD30 Fire Door certificate for proof of their safety. (Certifire Certificate CF 5705)

In addition to this, as with all of our doors that we supply and install your FD30s Composite Fire Door will also come with a 10 year manufacturer's warranty and a 12 month installation warranty.
